- ALBERT KANTER, 75, retried butcher, died at his home in Valders, following an illness of two years. Funeral services will be held at the Grace Lutheran church, Valders, with Rev. Paul Hensel officiating. Interment will be in the Brillion Cemetery.
Mr. Kanter was born in the town of Rockland in 1876. He married the former Margaret Neuman in 1917. They lived in Brillion until 1934 when they moved to Valders. Mr. Kanter was employed in a butcher shop in Valders until he became ill two years ago.
Surviving are the wife; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Compliment of Ironton, Ohio; two sons, Pfc Norman of Camp Wolters, Tex., and Milford of Manitowoc; four brothers, William of Reedsville, Otto of Potter and Reinhold and Charles, both of Brillion; a sister, Mrs. William Engel of Brillion and four grandsons.
